Choosing the best technology for your real estate


Marketing is a crucial part of buying and selling real estate. Everyday you see new venues that entice you to look at new directions that marketing is going. I was listening to a Real Estate Podcast yesterday that said that by 2020 almost all Facebook and other types of communication will be done by video. If your not going that direction you will be left behind in marketing.

As a Realtor I have to keep up with all the new cutting edge technologies and see which ones work the best. For example remember when you saw ads on a grocery cart or in a grocery aisle? Today everyone has their faces in their phones. Where do you want you home to be in the aisle or on everyone's cell phone?

Today's advertising is different than yesterday's. Getting clients real estate out on a daily basis is very important to their success of selling a home. You can even have App's for finding all the homes for sale. My favorite is the one below.

Some agents will just add their listings to the MLS and let it sale. A lot of times that does work great in hot selling markets. When you get into the longer days on market areas then you need to not only put the homes on the MLS, but you also need to get your clients homes out on other channels.

One of the ones I personally like is building a website for every listing. Click here to view one of my listings and what it looks like. I have a company that does this for my clients and it is done automatically for each individual listing. These sites do a lot of things, gets the word out and lets my clients also market their property if they want. Notice also you can print flyers for this property at the site(in case flyers run out) . It also has a mortgage calculator that lets the viewer see what the home might cost a month. A video and pictures is also added.

Having this type of advertising gives my clients the edge to sell their home. We also keep up with open houses,brokers opens, professional pictures, 100's of websites including Zillow, Trulia etc. I add my listing to my blog post weekly. Keeping the open houses updated on the MLS and announcing them on social media.

Keeping up with Technologies for my clients give them the upper hand in selling their homes. I also look at other venues for buyers.
