There is so much that you can do as a real estate agent that can make you stand out in any market. There are many other ways to make money as a real estate agent, than just listings and buyers. There are so many different income streams for Realtors, that most agents have no idea are out there!
During the last 20 years that I have been a Realtor, I have never cold called or did any door knocking at all. Instead I created many other marketing platforms that sent the business to me. My income has been a solid 6 figures except for my first year. I basically have many different facets that creates income and continuously gets me checks.
I will be updating my book soon, but you have to know how to market and streamline your business! I am always getting our systems better and better because time is money! For example I lease about 50-70 homes a year and getting the credit application is very important to getting real estate leased. So I set the application on my I Phone and I do right at the property. That way the potential tenant can get their application in a lot faster!
There are ways to get your name out in local markets that are controlled by other agents. I will personally show you how to do that when you join my team. Remember that I get paid through EXP Realty not your commission check! That is a huge difference from other brokerages and EXP Realty, they choose to let you keep your money and build your business.
I personally had 118 transactions last year through my real estate license at EXP Realty. That created a lot of income and got me my ICON Agent status for the last two years.
