15 Types Of Real Estate Agents Every Buyer And Seller Should Avoid

This article comes from and there are Realtors that you should avoid if they show certain trats. I wanted to go over some important ones that you need to know before you sale or buy investment real estate.

1. To hungry of a Realtor that needs a deal. Having a seasoned professional Realtor can make all the difference in the world. Recently while selling a clients property the inspection and repairs took a few weeks. The buyer wanted to the seller to repair some gutters.

I caled my client and the buyers agent to try and get a meeting of the minds. Never ever did I rush my seller. I finally called the buyers agent and ask if the buyer and sellers could talk and work out the repair cost. They did and the property is closing this week.

2. Non-Experts can also be costly in the real estate buisness. Today an investor called me on a property they were considering to purchase. Looked great on paper, but you need to know what the city expects done. When we really looked at it the deal was very risky and the sellers did not even let the potential buyers preview the property.

It is very crucial to have a Realtor that understands the cities and knows what the sale price and or lease price should be. I study real estate on a daily basis and understand what the pricing should be also good and bad deals.

3. Part Time agents are dangerous to closing any deal. I ws selling a home in North Royalton to a couple that had a part time agent. When they sent in the contract they let the seller basically able to live in the property for an unknown amount of time.

I called the agent and they laughed and said this is just part time for me. Real Estate is not a pert time job because you are working with big numbers. This could cost a client a ton of money. Having a agent that really looks out for a clients best interest must be full time and have many transactions under their belt. Part Time agents usually do not.

4. Unavailable is another huge issue for a lot of people. When your dealing with real estate teams that just want to do the numbers it can be hard to get a hold of them. I was dealing with a property in Solon that I was purchasing for a client and the agent was super hard to get a hold of.

So i took the bull by the horns and got the property closed and my clients happy. Being avaliable is very important in real estate.

That's the most important ones in my eyes. Besides that I have a client calling
