There are many types of inspectors in the business and controlling the repairs and issues before you sell your home can save you both money and time.
2. Cleaning your home up and making it look bigger is a great way to get more money. I see pictures in the MLS that have rooms full of furniture and clothes in some cases. Cleaning up your home and making it look more open will get more buyers interested in it.
3. If your home has older looking colors spend a few weekends updating your colors, Sherwin Williams can assist with their interior decorators that can come out to your home and layout the colors that are in demand today. Paint can fix a lot of dating issues on a home. If you have a older cabinets consider painting them with cabinet paint and replacing the hardware.
4. Flooring is another major factor in selling a home. Get your carpets cleaned and if your kitchen and bathrooms have dated floors replace them. It really is not that expensive and you need that updated look in the kitchens and bathrooms. If you have wood get some nice throw rugs to match the color on the walls.
