Cleveland’s economy and GDP Ranks 70th over 384 Metros

This article comes from https://www.cleveland.com/ and talks about how Cleveland's economy is kicking butt and taking names. I have personally seen this for the last 10 years in Cleveland, all the downtown remodeling spread out to outlining communities.

According to this article Cleveland has one of the fastest growing GDP of any large metro areas. This includes Phoenix, Orlando, Charlotte, and other major metro areas.

"* Cleveland metro area’s per capita real GDP increased from $49,280 to $58,010 during this same time period, now ranking 70th among 384 metros nationally. Cincinnati is 81st and Columbus is 96th. For Cleveland, this covers Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain and Medina counties."

Cleveland is also one of the most affordable housing markets in the United States. I visit Phoenix a lot during the year and housing prices there in nice neighborhoods start at $250,000. In Cleveland I personally just picked up a nice brick ranch home almost 2000 SF, and in a nice area for $150,000.
