Picking a home to live in and to invest in have a lot of the same ingredients. Every home has to be in a good location. This property I purchased is a great example of a home that has all the ingredients to being a great income earner for my portfolio.
This was a property I purchased at the end of 2021 and I wanted to update you on the numbers. I leased this property for $1125 a month. The tenant was a previous tenant that we moved out of another Bedford home and needed a place to lease.
He paid his lease all year and our net per month is $875 after taxes,Insurance. This property was purchased by two investors that backed out of the property so I purchased it. We will be increasing the lease in 6 weeks.
If I ask my clients to purchase a piece of real estate I have to be willing to buy it myself. That happened twice last year and I purchased both homes (86 Cowles)
